It feels a little disingenuous to me that this was published as a standalone novel, as it’s a pretty direct continuation of the story begun in The Witness for the Dead. Given that, I don’t have a whole lot to say about this book. If you read The Witness for the Dead and enjoyed it you’ll almost certainly like this one too.
